Bird of Paradise by Visionary Artist Susan Medyn

This is a fun new ink and watercolor painting of some great birds having a nice time flitting around. I think that the royal bird in the center is very cool. Makes me wish I could fly. This is a 9" by 12" ink and watercolor painting on arches cold press paper. the paper is white although my photography does not quite show that. I enjoy making work that has an oneiric quality to it. Although some people see me as a naive artist, given the dreamlike quality of my work I seem to fall in the visionary artist category.
